Meghan Markle's Candle Line: A Heartfelt Tribute to Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle's As Ever lifestyle brand is launching a new Mother's Day collection featuring candles inspired by her and Prince Harry's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The collection includes signature candles that are named after the children's birthdays.
New Candle Collection
The Mother's Day collection will be released on Wednesday. It features two $64 signature candles named in honor of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. One candle, titled Signature Candle No. 506, is dedicated to Archie's May 6 birthday and has a warm scent with notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere.
The other candle, Signature Candle No. 604, celebrates Lilibet's June 4 birthday and is described as having a light, floral aroma with amber, santal, and water lily notes. Different bundle sets inspired by the children's birthdays will also be available.
Brand's First Major Launch Since Netflix Departure
This launch marks the first major release for As Ever since Netflix ended its partnership with the brand last month. An industry source noted that continuing the partnership didn’t make sense after Meghan’s series "With Love, Meghan" was canceled following two seasons.
A Netflix spokesperson stated that they supported Meghan's vision for the brand and look forward to seeing its independent growth. A source mentioned there might still be seasonal specials of her show.
As Ever's Developments
Recently, Meghan filed an As Ever trademark in Australia shortly before a planned visit there with Harry. Earlier reports had indicated no plans for expansion into other countries. However, experts suggest this move could reflect challenges in meeting expectations in the American market.
Markle launched her business as American Riviera Orchard in 2024 but rebranded to As Ever due to trademark issues. Despite setbacks, she expressed gratitude for support during these challenges and views it as a learning process.
