Why No One Noticed Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney's Secret Times Square Adventure

Why No One Noticed Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney's Secret Times Square Adventure

Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney made a quick trek to New York City’s Times Square — and no one seemed to notice. “When you’re in bed at 11pm and your girl says ‘I’ve never been to Times Square….’ 😂,” Braun, 44, captioned a Sunday, May 31, Instagram video, which Sweeney, 28, replied, “🤷🏼‍♀️🥰🥰❤️.” In the clip, Braun filmed him and Sweeney biking down the streets of the Big Apple while wearing disguises. Sweeney donned a blue hoodie with black sunglasses while Braun opted for a gray hoodie with a green baseball cap underneath. “Hey Syd,” Braun said in the video, while Sweeney stuck her legs to the side and smiled. The pair then sat down as Sweeney ate a burger before walking around Times Square. Braun filmed the incognito trip as Sweeney sang to Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” and posed underneath an American Eagle billboard that featured a clip of the Euphoria actress for her campaign. Braun and Sweeney were first romantically linked in summer 2025, when they were spotted walking through Italy together while attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s star-studded wedding. In the months since, the pair have been spotted out and about together and a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the couple are slowly “blending their lives.” “They are the real deal, and their relationship has become very serious,” the insider said in April, noting that “people around them thought that this would be just a fling, but they are committed.” The source shared that Sweeney “really appreciates Scooter’s support with all her projects” and “loves hearing his feedback.” Braun, according to the insider, is “emotionally invested in her career and wants the best for her.” Sweeney finds this interest “very endearing” and she “feels loved and appreciated by him,” the source said. As their relationship has progressed, Sweeney and Braun have introduced each other to important people in their lives. Check our latest news in Google News Check our latest news in Apple News “Scooter has brought his kids around her,” the source revealed, referring to Braun’s sons, Jagger, 11, and Levi, 9, and daughter, Hart, 7. (Braun shares his three kids with ex-wife Yael Cohen, whom he split from in July 2021. Their divorce was finalized the following September.) Sweeney, meanwhile, has had Braun meet her brother, Trent, who “thinks he is a great guy,” the insider said. “They are slowly integrating their families and blending their lives, making the relationship more serious,” the source added. “Sydney is a hopeless romantic at heart and likes being in a committed relationship.” Exclusives you can't get anywhere else We know you want Us, because you've made it this far. Morgan Wallen's On-Stage Meltdown: What Made Him Flip a Piano?

Morgan Wallen's On-Stage Meltdown: What Made Him Flip a Piano?

Country music star Morgan Wallen appeared frustrated after experiencing technical difficulties during a recent show. During the singer’s Friday, May 29, show at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, Morgan, 33, flipped over his on-stage piano mid-performance after it appeared he was unable to hear the instrument, per social media footage shared on both X and Instagram. TMZ and Billboard also reported on the on-stage incident. Amid the technical difficulties, the singer was forced to perform his hit song “Sand In My Boots” a cappella, moving forward with the show despite the apparent ear piece issues. Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Wallen for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer, who got his start in 2014 on season 6 of The Voice, is no stranger to controversy. In May 2020, he was arrested outside Kid Rock’s Nashville bar, Big Honky Tonk, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was later cleared of the charges. “I went out downtown last night with a few old friends,” he said via X, then known as Twitter. “We didn’t mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.” View this post on Instagram He made headlines again when he was caught partying without a face mask — kissing multiple women in the process — at college bars in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, amid the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. His reported partying ultimately cost him a gig on Saturday Night Live. “I’m in New York City, in a hotel room. I was getting ready for SNL this Saturday, and I got a call from the show letting me know that I will no longer be able to play. And that’s because of COVID protocols, which I understand,” Wallen said at the time. “I’m not positive for COVID, but my actions this past weekend were pretty short-sighted and that have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams. I respect the show’s decision because I know that I put them in jeopardy. I take ownership for this.” Check our latest news in Google News Check our latest news in Apple News (Wallen later made his official SNL debut on December 5, 2020.) Later, in 2021, Wallen sparked controversy again when TMZ published a video of the singer using the N-word in February amid rising racial tensions in the country after the murder of George Floyd. “I’m embarrassed and sorry,” the singer said in a statement at the time. “There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.” Exclusives you can't get anywhere else We know you want Us, because you've made it this far. Jamie Lee Curtis Reveals Heartfelt Pre-Wedding Photos as Tribute to Late Sister

Jamie Lee Curtis Reveals Heartfelt Pre-Wedding Photos as Tribute to Late Sister

Jamie Lee Curtis is continuing to pay tribute to her late sister, Kelly Curtis, just hours after announcing her death at the age of 69. “In 1984 on December 17, in the evening before my wedding, my sister, Kelly, who was my maid of honor, came to my apartment and slept over,” Jamie, 67, wrote via Facebook on Saturday, May 30. Jamie added that their friend Suzanne Tenner “made a portrait of the sisters” before her wedding to husband Christopher Guest. “She sent me this contact sheet today in condolence for the loss of my beautiful sister,” the Freaky Friday actress added. In the photos, Jamie and Kelly struck various poses as they sat on the floor. The sisters hugged in a handful of the snapshots, while others showed them entwined as they laid on the ground. “My sister and I were close as children but also had that sibling competition for divorced parent’s attention, and love and we were wildly different and lived apart for many years, but she came back to be with me at my wedding and never really left again,” Jamie continued. “She worked for me at one point when she was in between jobs as my assister-aunt and became an integral part of my family structure.” The actress concluded, “I miss her today but am buoyed by the knowledge that she is at peace.” Jamie confirmed Kelly’s death via Instagram earlier on Saturday. “A warm aloha to my older sister, Kelly Lee Curtis. She passed away this morning. In her home. In nature. At peace,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of her late sibling, which showed her getting her hair done as she smoked a cigarette. She went on to say that Kelly was her “first friend and lifelong confidant.” “She was jaw droppingly beautiful, and a talented actress. She played a mean game of hearts, collected turtles, loved her family, nature, music, thrifting, travel, Facebook, and Pokémon Go,” Jamie continued. “She was proud of her Danish roots and Hungarian Jewish ancestry and was a devoted American patriot.” Kelly, the eldest daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, was born in Santa Monica on June 17, 1956. Similar to Jamie, she followed in her mother and father’s professional footsteps and made her acting debut in the 1958 adventure film The Vikings alongside her parents. Check our latest news in Google News Check our latest news in Apple News She and Jamie also appeared in several films together, including 1983’s Trading Places, 1987’s Magic Sticks and 1991’s The Devil’s Daughter. Kelly also worked behind the camera and directed the 2018 documentary Marby Jets Are Go. Her cause of death has not yet been publicly revealed. Kelly is survived by Jamie and Christoper, 78, her husband and fellow filmmaker John Marsh, and her half-siblings Alexandra, Allegra, Ben and Nicholas. Trump's Bold Move: Calls for Major Concert Cancellation Amid Artist Exodus

Trump's Bold Move: Calls for Major Concert Cancellation Amid Artist Exodus

President Donald Trump called for organizers of Freedom 250’s Great American State Fair concerts to “cancel” upcoming concerts due to artists dropping out. “I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists,’ and give a major speech, rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President,” Trump, 79, wrote via TruthSocial on Saturday, May 30. Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Young MC and Morris Day and the Time have all pulled out of scheduled shows at the 16-day festival in Washington D.C. celebrating America’s 250th birthday over organizer Freedom 250’s connections to the Trump administration. Freedom 250 describes its events as “nonpartisan,” though its website mentions the White House and the Department of War among its “founding government members.” Freedom 250 also publicly counts multiple corporations with ties to Trump — including Palantir, UFC and Oracle — as sponsors. “I would like to talk to you and clear the air. I will not be performing at the Great American State Fair on June 25. I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event but that turned out to be misleading,” McBride, 59, announced via Instagram on Thursday, May 28. Michaels, 63, alleged that he’d received threats over his involvement in Freedom 250 before deciding to cancel his show. “Unfortunately, what was presented to us as a celebration of our country has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of,” Michaels said in a statement via his website. “Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable. Because of that, I have made the difficult decision to step away from this performance.” In the wake of multiple artist cancellations, Trump compared the Freedom 250 controversy to his troubled attempt to renovate and rename the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. A judge ruled on Friday, May 29, that Trump’s name should be removed from the Kennedy Center’s marquee, in addition to temporarily blocking a planned two-year closure for renovations. (The president later threatened to “transfer this failing Institution back” to the “Radical Left Democrats” to force them to take ownership of renovation costs and planning.) “We should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain,” Trump suggested. “Cancel it, just like I canceled my involvement with the failing and unsafe to be in Kennedy Center … The Kennedy Center is broken, unsafe, and $busted, and has been for many years!” Prior to Trump’s statement, Freedom 250 spokesperson Julia Friedland addressed whether the festivities were truly nonpartisan during an appearance on DC News Now’s Sunrise on the Hill on Friday, May 29. “I don’t think there’s anything partisan about America being around for 250 years … We have a history, obviously, but we have a president that wants to celebrate 250 years of America,” she insisted. “And that’s exactly what we’re doing. And that’s how it was sold to performers. We’ll have military bands, military ensembles as well. We will have representatives from every state and territory in the United States to come and represent their culture, what makes their state and territory unique.” “So it sold the same way to everyone that we’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday,” she added. “We’ll have military bands, orchestras, talented performers. We will be announcing more in the coming weeks and days, and we will have something for everyone there.” Check our latest news in Google News Check our latest news in Apple News Asked whether artists were told about the White House’s involvement when they signed on, Friedland said, “I can’t speak to negotiations that were made for performers. But what I can say is we’re selling it the same way to every single person in this country. This is a celebration of America, 250 years, glorious years. It’s inherently nonpolitical.” Not every concert booked for the Freedom 250 concerts has been cancelled, as headliners Vanilla Ice and Fab Morvan of Milli Vanilli have both promoted their involvement via social media amid the backlash. “Happy birthday America 250 years. It’s gonna be an epic party,” Vanilla Ice, 58, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, May 28. “This is to bring us all together. I’m tired of all the news channels dividing this country. We are all one.” Exclusives you can't get anywhere else We know you want Us, because you've made it this far.
