A Chinese educator and online commentator known as the “Chinese Nostradamus” has issued five chilling predictions for 2027. Professor Jiang is the online persona of Jiang Xueqin, a Chinese-Canadian educator, former journalist and high-school teacher based in Beijing, who regularly predicts world events. He came to fame after making three high-profile forecasts in 2024: that Donald Trump would win the US election, that the US would go to war with Iran, and that America would lose that war.

Following those claims that ultimately came to fruition, Jiang says his 2027 scenario involves five interlocking developments, each severe on its own, but especially dangerous in combination.
