House Republicans Secure Government Funding, Stealing Democrats' Leverage

House Republicans have passed a blockbuster bill this week, leaving Democrats powerless to stop it from making its way to President Donald Trump’s desk for signature.

The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday passed H.R. 9770, a continuing resolution that will fund the full federal government through December 4, 2026.

The measure passed by a vote of 220-205.
