Kyle Cooke's New Romance Sparks Buzz After Amanda Batula Split
Kyle Cooke is reportedly “hooking up” with “Southern Charm” star Salley Carson following his separation from his wife, Amanda Batula.
“It’s new and casual, but he’s really into her and they’ve been having fun,” an insider told Us Weekly on Saturday.
“They’ve only hung out a few times but get along really well. They have a lot of chemistry.”
Another insider shared that Cooke, 43, and Carson, 31, were seen at the By the Way restaurant and bar in Charleston, South Carolina, on Friday.
It’s unclear if the duo showed any signs of PDA during their low-key outing with Carson’s “Southern Charm” castmates Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.
“The group appeared to be getting along,” a source told the outlet. “They have chemistry. It looked like they had fun and enjoyed each other’s company.”
According to the insider, the Bravo stars left the bar together.
Reps for Carson and Cooke weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The “Summer House” star was interrogated about his relationship with Carson during the Season 10 reunion last week.
“What’s up with you and Salley from ‘Southern Charm?'” host Andy Cohen asked. “Is that a thing? Did you guys hook up?”
At the time, the Bravo star admitted to having kissed Carson “the night before the ‘Summer House’ premiere” in February.
“When I found that out, I immediately called Amanda, and I told her that Kyle was making out with Salley, and I thought that that was crazy,” Ciara Miller chimed in.
“I thought it was absurd. It’s insane. I’m just making an example of how good of a friend I was to you and how you’re a friend to me. I just want to point that out,” she continued, alluding to how Batula is now dating West Wilson, whom Miller briefly dated in 2023.
Batula, 34, and Wilson, 31, confirmed their romance in March when Page Six reported that they were in a “full-blown relationship.”
Cooke and Batula, meanwhile, announced they were “amicably” separating after four years of marriage in January.
“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time. since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” they wrote in a joint statement at the time.
Batula shed light on her and Cooke’s marriage during the reunion, claiming that they didn’t have sex “the entire time” they were married.
The exes have yet to file for divorce, with an insider telling Page Six that they are still sorting through finances.
