Selena Gomez's Shocking Hair Makeover: Fans Can't Stop Talking!

Sseason 6 of “Only Murders in the Building” is going to look really different.

As the cast gallivants through London, they’ve taken their fans along for the ride, sharing photos and videos on social media that give a behind-the-scenes peek at the filming of the next season for the Hulu show.

But star Selena Gomez’s latest photos require a double-take, as she debuted a brand new hairstyle that has her looking like someone else entirely — and not her on-screen character Mabel Mora, either.

In a new post, the actress flashes coppery red hair, styled in a curly shoulder-length ‘do that stands in stark contrast to her signature dark brown locks.

“Wild things happening with @onlymurdershulu while adoring london 💕” she wrote in the caption.

She shared a selfie, taken from above, as well as a video that features Gomez lying on a bed in her trailer, zooming into a mirror to admire the new style.

“Ummmm lovvve the red!!” wrote Ashley Park on the post, while a fan echoed, “girl the red hair LOOKS GOOD ON U.”

Though it’s likely a wig, as Gomez has shared other behind-the-scenes images with her darker hair, this could be a toe-dip into a future change with all the love her fiery hair has gotten in just a few short hours.

It also seems like bright wigs might be a theme this season, at least according to a post shared by Steve Martin that shows the actor with Gomez and Martin Short alongside Jennifer Saunders, who wears a neon pink bob with bangs.

Back in 2025, Gomez used a wig to try another hairstyle on for size, adding bangs across her forehead. Of the temporary style she wrote, “I would, but I’d regret it, then get it redone so I simply wont.”
