Kiefer Sutherland's U.S. Tour Stopped Cold—Here's Why It Was Canceled
Kiefer Sutherland has canceled the U.S. leg of his Love Will Bring You Home tour due to low ticket sales. The announcement was made through his Instagram on May 15.
Tour Cancellation Details
Sutherland expressed disappointment in canceling, citing fairness to ticket holders and venues as reasons for not performing to half-empty audiences. He remains hopeful about touring the U.S. again soon.
Ticket refunds will be offered to those who purchased tickets. This would have been Sutherland's first U.S. tour in nearly a decade, scheduled to begin in June and include stops in various cities such as Boston, Nashville, and Los Angeles.
Musical Career
Kiefer Sutherland is recognized not only for his acting but also as an Americana musician who has released several albums since 2016. Earlier this year, he announced tours in Europe, the U.K., and the U.S. to promote his upcoming album, Grey.
The European leg of his tour has concluded, and Sutherland is now performing in the U.K.
Other Cancellations
The Pussycat Dolls also canceled most of their U.S. reunion tour dates while maintaining their European and U.K. shows.
Several other artists like Meghan Trainor, Post Malone, and Zayn Malik have similarly canceled upcoming tours for various reasons.
