Country singer Clint Black discussed the fertility challenges he and his wife, Lisa Hartman Black, faced in a recent interview. The couple experienced several pregnancy losses before the birth of their daughter Lily.

Fertility Struggles

In an interview with People, Clint shared that Lisa suffered four pregnancy losses before welcoming their daughter Lily in May 2001. He described the period as painful and scary but emphasized how they supported each other through it.

Clint mentioned that they initially chose to keep these struggles private to maintain hope. Now, years later, he feels more at ease discussing their journey.

The Joy of Parenthood

Clint fondly recalled the birth of their daughter as "exhaustingly joyful," marking a significant moment in their lives. As Lily pursues her music career, Clint enjoys guiding her while also learning from her.

The couple married in 1991 after meeting a year earlier and have since navigated both personal and professional challenges together.

Professional Collaborations

Lisa, known for her role in Knots Landing, has collaborated with Clint on projects like their duet "When I Said I Do" and a forthcoming Lifetime movie of the same name. They are excited about continuing to work together creatively.

Clint's memoir, Killin' Time: My Life and Music, releases on May 19, adding another chapter to his storied career.
