'Storage Wars' Star Darrell Sheets Dies Unexpectedly at 67

Darrell Sheets, a star of the A&E show Storage Wars, has passed away from an apparent suicide at the age of 67. His death occurred in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Details of the Incident

The Lake Havasu City Police Department reported that officers found Sheets with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on April 22, 2026. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was sent to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's office for further investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Career and Legacy

Darrell Sheets was known by his nickname "The Gambler" throughout his tenure on Storage Wars, appearing in 163 episodes between 2010 and 2023. A&E expressed their condolences, describing him as a beloved member of the show’s family.

Following his retirement from the show in 2023, he opened an antique store in Lake Havasu after suffering a mild heart attack in 2019.

Personal Life

Sheets was previously married to Kimber Wuerfel until their divorce in 2016. He is survived by his son, Brandon Sheets, who also appeared on Storage Wars. At the time of his death, Darrell was not married.
