Taylor Frankie Paul's Response to Rumors About Her 'Mormon Wives' Future
Taylor Frankie Paul has denied reports that she will not participate in the upcoming season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Production on the show had previously been paused due to her legal issues with ex-partner Dakota Mortensen.
Show's Production Resumes
Cameras have started rolling again after a brief hiatus. Us Weekly reported that both Taylor and Dakota would not return for the rest of the season, but Taylor disputed this in an Instagram comment, saying it was not true.
Legal Issues and Their Resolution
The production pause was initially due to an alleged incident between Taylor and Dakota, which led them to file restraining orders against each other. Dakota temporarily got custody of their child, while Taylor was allowed supervised visits until further legal proceedings.
A decision issued later by the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office stated that no charges would be filed against Taylor regarding the February incident. This came after reviewing evidence from the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department.
Statements from Taylor and Dakota
Taylor expressed her struggles with the situation, stating there is more context behind it and choosing to share her healing process through social media. On her part, she continues to post online as a form of processing events.
Dakota released a statement focusing on his son and moving forward positively. He expressed regret for not leaving what he called a "difficult cycle" sooner and voiced concern about how their situation had been publicly depicted, emphasizing it did not fully represent their reality.
