Many politicians sent condolences to the Warner family. Vice President JD Vance offered prayers through X, expressing sorrow for such a loss at a young age. Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger extended sympathies to the entire Warner family via X as well.

Senator Tim Kaine shared fond memories of Madison, emphasizing the deep love Warner and Collis had for their daughters. He prayed for comfort for all who knew Madison during this tragic time.

Madison's Health Challenges

Madison largely stayed out of the public eye, despite Senator Warner's political prominence. Her struggle with juvenile diabetes was previously addressed by Warner when he highlighted the need for affordable insulin in Congress.

Mark Warner previously served as Virginia's governor before becoming a senior senator in 2009. He has two other daughters, Gillian and Eliza, with Lisa Collis.
