Christine Quinn's Estranged Husband Seeks Sole Ownership of LA Home

Christian Dumontet, estranged husband of Christine Quinn, is seeking sole ownership of their former joint home in Los Angeles to sell it. He filed court documents on April 17 requesting control of the property.

Financial Strain on Dumontet

Dumontet argues that selling the house will stop ongoing financial losses associated with maintaining a non-income-producing asset. He states that the mortgage balance stands at $3.5 million and claims it costs him $400,000 annually to maintain.

The property was purchased by Dumontet before his marriage to Quinn in 2019. Despite renovations and preparation for sale, he alleges significant financial harm due to carrying costs.

Legal and Personal Developments

Dumontet currently resides in France with his new partner and their child. His petition mentions that neither he nor Quinn lives in the Los Angeles home, emphasizing that it generates no income.

The court documents note Quinn made no financial contributions toward the property's expenses, leaving Dumontet solely responsible. His emergency order was denied while the house is listed for $7.5 million.

Amid their separation in 2024, Quinn moved to Texas with their son and expressed gratitude for being close to family there.
