Joseph and Kendra Duggar's Financial Struggles Exposed in Jail Call
Joseph and Kendra Duggar are reportedly selling their possessions to pay bills amid legal troubles. This conversation took place during a call while Joseph was in custody last month.
Financial Struggles
The couple discussed their financial issues in a 20-minute call. Kendra mentioned they owed money for a construction project, unsure of the exact amount, but noted they needed to pay someone named Gale. Joseph thought the debt was $3,200, but Kendra said his brother Jed estimated it at $6,200.
Additionally, they owe $3,200 to one construction firm and $600 to a structural engineer for repairs on their home. They also considered selling possessions like a truck and trailer to make money.
Legal Troubles
Joseph was arrested on March 18 in Arkansas for alleged child molestation and charged with lewd behavior involving minors. He was extradited to Florida and pleaded not guilty. Released on a $600,000 bond, he must avoid unsupervised contact with minors.
Kendra expressed anxiety during jail calls with Joseph, sharing that she struggled with eating due to stress. The couple faces additional charges in Arkansas for child endangerment and false imprisonment.
Court Dates
Both have upcoming court dates related to these charges. Joseph’s next court appearance for the molestation case is scheduled for April 20 in Florida, while the couple will appear in Arkansas on April 29.
