Jennie Garth Opens Up About Her '90210' Co-Star and First True Love!

Garth expressed that looking back, she realized Perry had been her first true love during their time together on the show. She noted feeling jealous when Perry interacted with guest stars.

Although the line between their on-screen and off-screen relationship blurred, Garth believed something genuine existed between them. She recalled falling for Perry as their characters connected romantically on the show.

After Moving On

The confusion resolved when both actors married other people and remained close friends. Perry wed Rachel Sharp in 1993 and had two children before divorcing in 2003. Garth married Peter Facinelli in 2001, having three daughters before their divorce in 2013.

Coping with Loss

Perry's death in March 2019 deeply affected Garth, leaving her unable to speak about the painful loss. She reflects on this in her memoir, scheduled for release on April 14.
