Share Post

A State Trooper pulled over a car traveling at 22 MPH and discovered five elderly women inside the vehicle. The driver believed she was adhering to the speed limit, which led to a misunderstanding.

The Traffic Stop

While on patrol, a State Trooper noticed a car moving unusually slowly at 22 MPH and decided to stop it, suspecting it posed a hazard similar to speeding. Upon approaching, he found five elderly ladies looking visibly frightened.

Mistaken Speed Limit

The driver insisted she was following the speed limit, but the Trooper clarified that the number "22" referred to the route number, not the speed limit. The driver was embarrassed by her mistake but appreciated the clarification.

Concerns for Passengers

The officer checked if the passengers were okay, noting they seemed shaken. The driver explained they had just exited Route 119, implying the reason for their nervous demeanor.
