Struggles in Faith

The “Today” anchor expressed that despite celebrating the promise of eternal life, it sometimes feels distant when faced with life's challenges. She detailed moments of feeling abandoned and deeply disappointed.

Savannah reflected on her faith's teachings that Jesus experienced pain but confessed to questioning whether he understood the specific wound she feels: uncertainty and unanswered questions.

Acknowledging Pain

She acknowledged her struggles aren’t wrong or irreverent, emphasizing the importance of confronting such feelings honestly. Savannah stated that darkness makes the light more beautiful and necessary.

Concluding her message, she described envisioning a future where heaven and earth are united. She affirmed her belief and wished everyone a Happy Easter.

Search for Nancy Guthrie

Savannah’s colleagues have shown support as she stays with her sister Annie in Tucson, Arizona, during the ongoing search for their mother. Nancy has been missing since February 1.

Savannah revealed alarming details about her mother’s disappearance during a recent “Today” interview. The doors were propped open and there was blood on the doorstep, with the Ring camera removed from its place.
