Taylor Frankie Paul discussed the impact of leaked footage from her 2023 domestic violence incident on her children. The video, showing an altercation with her ex Dakota Mortensen, surfaced online recently.

Controversial Video's Impact

The video was released on their son Ever’s second birthday and allegedly leaked by Mortensen. Paul expressed anger over the situation, stating that it ruined a special day for her toddler and brought painful memories back for her daughter Indy.

In the footage, Indy could be heard crying as Paul appeared to throw furniture at Mortensen. At the time, it was suggested Indy may have been hit with a metal barstool during the incident.

Legal Repercussions

Paul faced legal consequences, pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault under a plea deal that reduced other charges to misdemeanors. She received three years probation.

Following the release of the footage, ABC canceled Paul’s season of "The Bachelorette".

Ongoing Investigations

The production of Season 5 of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is on hold while investigations continue into a new domestic violence allegation involving both Paul and Mortensen. A protective order gives Mortensen temporary custody until an April hearing.
