Share Post

Dennis Rodman is set to become a two-time Hall of Famer this spring by joining the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania Weekend in Las Vegas on April 17.

Basketball and Wrestling Career

Rodman is well-known for his five NBA championship rings with the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons. His entry into professional wrestling began in 1997, bringing his unique energy to World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

His wrestling career was highlighted by his partnership with Hulk Hogan. They competed in high-profile tag team matches, including a notable event where he missed a Bulls practice during the 1998 NBA Finals for an appearance on "Monday Night Nitro."

Hall of Fame Induction

Rodman's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame’s celebrity wing places him among legends like Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Pete Rose. He stands out as the only athlete inducted into both the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and WWE Hall of Fame.

Legacy

Rodman's WCW stint ended at the Road Wild event in 1999. His basketball career includes seven rebounding titles, an average of 13.1 rebounds per game, and two Defensive Player of the Year awards.

This April, Rodman will be honored alongside Stephanie McMahon, A.J. Styles, and Demolition. His unconventional career earns him a second Hall of Fame jacket, celebrating a legacy that defies expectations.
