The shooting took place at a home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on March 7. Deputies found McIntosh with a gunshot wound to the back of her head; she was airlifted to a Colorado hospital but died from her injuries the next day.
Fourteen-year-old Havoc Leone was taken into custody at the scene and allegedly provided conflicting accounts of the event to police.
Events Leading Up to the Shooting
According to court documents, a dispute over Leone receiving a D in math reportedly led him to take his mother's Taurus 9 mm from her vehicle and hide it in his room.
