Cardi B's legal team is actively working in bankruptcy court to locate and secure funds. They have issued subpoenas for contracts, tax returns, bank statements, and digital income related to Tasha K’s business operations. A Rule 2004 examination requires Tasha K to present financial documents under oath.

The original judgment of $3.9 million was the result of a defamation suit involving allegations against Cardi B. Although an initial repayment agreement was reached during bankruptcy proceedings, recent actions by Cardi’s team suggest they are ensuring all potential payments are secured.
