Nicole Kidman to Attend 2026 Met Gala with Daughter

Nicole Kidman will be attending the 2026 Met Gala as a co-chair, accompanied by her daughter Sunday. This marks the third time Kidman has co-chaired fashion's biggest night.

Kidman, 58, revealed the news on a podcast, expressing her happiness about participating in the event alongside her 17-year-old daughter. She shares Sunday and another daughter, Faith, with ex-husband Keith Urban.

Family Changes and Fashion Endeavors

In September 2025, Kidman and Urban separated after 20 years of marriage, with their divorce being finalized earlier this year. The actress previously cohosted the Met Gala in 2003 and 2005.

Sunday recently made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week and is developing a career in modeling. Despite still being 17 during the upcoming gala, she will attend with her mother due to changes in guest age policies at the event.

Upcoming Gala and Future Plans

The 2026 Met Gala will feature a "Costume Art" theme and will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Alongside Kidman, other co-chairs include Beyoncé, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour.

Museum curator Andrew Bolton highlighted the significance of fashion's role at The Met, emphasizing its centrality in connecting various galleries across the museum.
