Share Post

An Indiana man has been charged with murder after allegedly killing his girlfriend using an ax. Travis Wolfe, 45, is accused of murdering Kimberly Stewart in her Indianapolis home on March 10.

Incident Details

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested Wolfe after finding Stewart's body in the backyard of her home. An autopsy confirmed she died from multiple blunt force trauma injuries. A friend discovered her body after failing to reach her earlier and called the police.

Witness Testimonies

A friend reported that Wolfe had been making threatening remarks the day before and described him as confrontational with neighbors. Another witness claimed to have heard a woman's cry and saw a man with a "club or hammer." Wolfe denied involvement but admitted to owning an ax.

Legal Proceedings

Wolfe faces a preliminary murder charge and remains in custody, also linked to a separate firearm-related warrant. Details about his legal representation were not available as of March 13.
