Love Is Blind's Mike Discusses Future as New Romance Blossoms
Mike Gibney from "Love Is Blind" season 10 shared that having a family is part of his future plans with his new girlfriend, Tara. He clarified his comments about wanting children, saying that while he desires a family, it's not an immediate priority.
Family Planning
Mike mentioned that he'd like to start a family two to five years after marriage. He emphasized this is not something he wants right at the beginning of a relationship.
The reality star began dating Tara months after ending his engagement to Emma Betsinger on the show. He met Tara through Instagram in July 2025.
Past Relationships
During "Love Is Blind," Mike proposed to Emma, but at the altar, he decided not to go through with it due to her uncertainty about children. This decision came despite Emma's willingness to marry him and possibly have kids later.
Mike expressed concerns over making such life-changing decisions and the potential for Emma changing her mind about having children.
Moving Forward
Since the show, Mike has introduced Tara to his family during a Christmas visit. The meeting went well, and they enjoyed getting to know each other over the holidays.
"Love Is Blind" is available for streaming on Netflix.
