Tayshia Adams Tightens the Reins on Exes in 'Bachelor Mansion Takeover'
Tayshia Adams judged HGTV's Bachelor Mansion Takeover, a renovation competition featuring former Bachelor franchise contestants, leading to a reunion with some familiar faces.
Reunion with Past Contestants
During the event on March 12, Tayshia humorously admitted being strict with Noah Erb and Brendan Morais, who were contestants from her season. They participated in the show by renovating the mansion's rooms.
Tayshia mentioned she provided honest critiques, emphasizing that she doesn't hold back on feedback. Her co-judge Tyler Cameron supported her approach, noting that while he tried to be lenient, judging focused on craftsmanship.
The Renovation Challenge
Noah and Brendan worked on renovating a bunk room, which Tayshia compared to Toy Story. According to the show's format, teams of alums renovate different rooms each week, facing eliminations until a $100,000 prize is awarded to the last designer standing.
Tayshia's Journey from Bachelorette to Judge
Tayshia was originally the Bachelorette in season 16 after Clare Crawley's departure. She had advanced Noah and Brendan before choosing Zac Clark as her final pick; however, Tayshia and Zac ended their engagement in 2021.
Tayshia has since moved into hosting roles within the franchise alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe before Jesse Palmer took over. She described her return with Bachelor Mansion Takeover as enjoyable and stress-free compared to her previous experience searching for love on camera.
Bachelor Mansion Takeover airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on HGTV and streams the next day on HBO Max.
