Former New York Teacher's Home Parties Spark Prostitution Allegations
Eric Simpson, a former teacher from New York, has been accused of organizing prostitution parties at his home. These events allegedly involved commercial sex workers and customers engaging in commercial transactions.
Allegations and Indictment Details
The indictment claims that Simpson hosted these parties from 2021 to December 2025 at his residence in Macedon, New York. He is accused of promoting and managing the events, arranging for sex workers to be present for the attendees.
The documents also state that Simpson advertised the gatherings using a Gmail account, detailing how many women would attend and managing party logistics such as admission fees and parking arrangements.
Court Proceedings
Simpson was indicted on one count of using interstate facilities to promote a prostitution enterprise. Following his arraignment in federal court in Buffalo on March 11, he pleaded not guilty and was released on conditions pending his return to court on March 16.
Employment History
Simpson worked at North Rose-Wolcott Central School District as a technology teacher until January 2026. The district confirmed compliance with background checks during his employment.
Before this position, he served as a substitute teacher and middle school computer science teacher at Gananda Central School District from September 2020 to August 2024.
The school districts distanced themselves from the allegations, highlighting that they were unrelated to his teaching duties. Further inquiries should be directed to Homeland Security as it remains an active investigation.
