Hairdresser Allegedly Draws Weapon in Detroit Salon Fee Dispute
A Detroit woman claims a visit to a hairdresser's home resulted in threats and a gun being shown after a disagreement over service costs.
Robin Phillips recounted her experience to Fox 2 Detroit, explaining that she expected a discounted rate, as the stylist had advertised a special. However, the stylist demanded a higher price.
Alleged Threats With Scissors and Gun
Phillips stated that the hairdresser had scissors in hand during the argument, threatening to cut her daughter's hair if not paid. The situation reportedly intensified when the woman allegedly retrieved an AR-style firearm and made threats, prompting Phillips and her family to leave swiftly.
Police Report Filed
Phillips confirmed that she filed a police report with the Detroit Police Department. As of now, no charges have been publicly announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
