Fort Campbell on Alert: $5K Reward Offered for Stolen AI Drones
Several high-value military drones were stolen from a U.S. Army facility, and an investigation is underway to recover them. The theft took place at Fort Campbell between November 21 and November 24, 2025.
Theft Details
The stolen drones are Skydio X10D models, designed for military use, with each valued at approximately $28,000. They were taken from Building 6955, where the 326th Division Engineer Battalion operates.
The drones are equipped with advanced features, including a high-resolution camera, thermal sensors, and autonomous flight capabilities in complete darkness.
Investigation Progress
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division has listed the serial numbers of the missing drones in a reward notice. Surveillance footage shows two individuals wearing dark clothing and masks involved in the theft.
Authorities have also identified two vehicles connected to the incident: a light-colored sedan and a dark-colored pickup truck.
Call for Information
The Army CID offers a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction related to the theft. Officials can be contacted through Army CID Fort Campbell or the official tip portal. The stolen drones have not yet been recovered.
