The Hidden Ear Sign on Donald Trump That Could Signal Serious Health Risk
Reports have emerged concerning a detail known as "Frank's Sign" on Donald Trump's ear, sparking speculation about potential health issues. Concerns grew after Trump appeared with a rash on his neck during a Medal of Honor ceremony on March 2.
Clarification from Trump's Doctor
Trump's physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, explained the rash was due to a preventative skin treatment and not indicative of any serious condition. The cream being used is expected to cause redness for several weeks.
Speculation About Frank's Sign
David Pakman discussed images showing a crease in Trump's earlobe, suggesting it might correlate with coronary artery disease. This diagonal ear crease, known as Frank's Sign, has been studied since its description by Dr. Sanders Frank in 1973 and is often associated with cardiovascular conditions.
Although not definitive for diagnosing heart disease, Pakman highlighted the importance of monitoring such signs in someone of Trump’s age, cautioning that lighting or camera angles could also exaggerate the appearance.
Context of Ongoing Health Observations
This concern over Trump's health follows previous reports, including incidents involving minor soft tissue irritation from handshaking and chronic venous insufficiency. Despite these observations, Trump has tested negative for severe vascular conditions like deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.
