TV star Finnian Garbutt has announced he is in the last stages of his battle with skin cancer, which he has been fighting for four years. He recently shared that his cancer has progressed rapidly.

Cancer Diagnosis and Battle

The 28-year-old actor, known for his role in the BBC drama “Hope Street,” revealed on Instagram that he had been experiencing severe pain in his back and hip. Garbutt expressed his desire to spend time with family and friends.

Since his diagnosis, Garbutt achieved several life goals, including acting in a TV show, leading in a movie, buying a house, marrying Louise, and becoming a father to their daughter Saoirse.

Family Support

Garbutt thanked his fans for their support and shared a GoFundMe link created for his wife and daughter’s future. He hopes they will have the life they deserve despite his absence.

He was informed of the terminal nature of his cancer just two weeks before Saoirse was born. The illness has spread to his liver and lungs, leading to further complications.

Surgical Interventions

His journey included hospitalizations due to complications like hepatitis. In February 2022, Garbutt underwent extensive surgery to remove 75 lymph nodes from his face and neck.
