Elisabeth Hasselbeck's Surprising Reason for Avoiding 'Survivor' Return
Elisabeth Hasselbeck has made it clear she will not return to compete on "Survivor" again. She recently discussed this decision during an appearance on the podcast "Behind the Table."
Refusal to Return
The former "View" co-host, who participated in "Survivor: The Australian Outback" in 2001, stated that producers have repeatedly asked her to participate again, but she consistently declines. She emphasized her stance with a firm "Solid no, every single time."
Family Comes First
Hasselbeck explained her reluctance is due to her commitment to being present for her family. She shares three children with her husband, Tim Hasselbeck, and insists she cannot leave them for an extended period.
A Meaningful Experience
Reflecting on her time on "Survivor," Hasselbeck noted that it was valuable preparation for her later role on "The View." Despite having little initial camping experience, she adapted by learning skills such as knot-tying and fishing during the show.
In May, Hasselbeck used social media to refute any speculation about participating in "Survivor 50," stating she prefers spending time with family over returning to the competition.
