Man Allegedly Sent Threatening Photos Before Teen's Assault
Washington Man Accused of Kidnapping and Rape
A Washington man, Alec Leonardo Lepe, is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl after threatening her to leave home. He is held on a $1 million bond after she was rescued from his house.
Incident Details
The victim received a threatening message on February 25, with an image of a gun, urging her to leave with the sender to prevent harm to her grandparents. She met a masked man who took her in a truck.
According to reports, Lepe gave her a drink that caused her to lose consciousness. She awoke at his home, where she was held for several days and allegedly assaulted repeatedly when he returned from work.
Rescue and Arrest
Police tracked the location of the girl, discovering she was at Lepe's residence. Officers arrived on February 28 but initially found no evidence directly linking Lepe to the crime on-site. The teen managed to call 911 amid these events.
Lepe later communicated through a friend about turning himself in but denied knowing the girl was held against her will. Authorities have not confirmed if Lepe has legal representation or entered pleas for the charges as of March 5.
