Share Post

The bodies of two girls were found in suitcases in a Cleveland park, and authorities have identified them as half-sisters through DNA testing. However, their identities remain unknown.

Discovery and Investigation

A dog walker, Phillip Donaldson, discovered one suitcase partially buried in the park on March 2. Upon unzipping the suitcase, he found human remains and alerted the police. A search led to the discovery of a second suitcase containing another body.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the cause and method of death for the girls. Initial reports suggest the girls were aged between 8 and 14 and were victims of homicidal violence.

Ongoing Efforts

The Cleveland Police Department continues to work on identifying the girls by checking missing persons reports across Ohio and nearby states. They are also attempting to secure surveillance footage in hopes of uncovering new leads.

Community Response

Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb expressed outrage over the crime, emphasizing that those responsible should be brought to justice. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the Cleveland Police at (216) 25-CRIME or through Crime Stoppers.
