Trump's Unexpected Apology Leaves Everyone Surprised

Share Post

The US President issued a rare apology, not for a recent controversial video, but for endorsing Oklahoma’s Republican Governor, Kevin Stitt.

Controversial Video Incident

Last week, the 79-year-old President faced backlash for sharing a video on Truth Social depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. The video contained false claims about Dominion Voting Systems.

Despite calls for an apology, Trump defended his actions, stating he had done nothing wrong and refused to apologize.

Apology to Oklahoma

Trump criticized Governor Kevin Stitt after the National Governors Association chose not to host its annual meeting at the White House. Stitt had allegedly mentioned excluding the event from the official program.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed regret for endorsing Stitt, attributing his victory to the endorsement. He also explained his stance on inviting certain governors to the event.

Trump’s previous endorsement of Stitt was based on his success as a businessman in 2018 and his subsequent dedication to serving the people of Oklahoma. He defended his decision not to invite specific governors to the event.

He particularly criticized the Governor of Colorado and Maryland for reasons related to their actions and performance in office.
