Former NFL Star Arrested, Sporting Scratches on Face and Hands

A former New York Jets linebacker has been arrested in connection with his girlfriend's death after being found with scratches on his face and hands.

Deputies responded to a call about a woman needing life-saving help at a residence in Ooltewah, Tennessee, on February 5. Despite efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene with injuries indicating foul play.

The woman's boyfriend, Darron Lee, claimed to have found her unconscious, suggesting she fell in the shower. However, suspicious conditions in the home, including broken glass and blood, led to his arrest for first-degree murder and evidence tampering.

Previous Incidents and Arrest

Prior to this incident, Lee, a former NFL player, had faced multiple controversies, including a previous arrest related to domestic abuse. He has a history of alleged violent behavior towards women.
