A census taker visited a farmhouse in a rural area and inquired about the number and ages of the children living there.

The woman at the door listed her children: Sally and Billy, aged eighteen, Seth & Beth, aged sixteen, and Penny and Jenny, aged fourteen.

Surprised, the census taker asked if she had twins every time. The woman humorously replied that there were many occasions where they didn't have any twins.
