Man Lands Job Selling Toothbrushes Using Silly Humor

A man responded to a newspaper ad for a sales position, despite having no sales experience. He contacted the company and was told by the hiring manager to sell toothbrushes door-to-door.

After a day of selling, he returned to the office having sold only one toothbrush. The hiring manager expressed disappointment but gave him another chance.

On the final day, the man returned having sold an astounding 1500 toothbrushes. The hiring manager was shocked and asked how he achieved such success.

The man explained that he set up a table at a grocery store offering chips and dip. When people tried the dip and disliked it, he humorously offered them a toothbrush, resulting in high sales.
