Rebecca Gayheart's Emotional Tribute to Daughter Amid Heartbreaking Loss New

Rebecca Gayheart's Emotional Tribute to Daughter Amid Heartbreaking Loss

Rebecca Gayheart and the late Eric Dane’s 14-year-old daughter, Georgia, completed her middle school career just four months after the Grey’s Anatomy alum’s tragic death. “Congratulations Georgia!!! You have graduated middle school and survived an incredibly difficult year,” Gayheart, 54, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, June 6, sharing photos from the milestone ceremony. “I am so beyond proud of you — your tenacity, grit and grace has been on full display.” She continued, “Welcome to high school — I have no doubt you’re ready. I am so excited for you! Not pictured is your MVP trophy for beach volleyball. Bravo, congratulations and I love you so much ♥️.” Dane’s former Grey’s Anatomy costar Ellen Pompeo shared her well wishes for Georgia in the comments section. “Congratulations Georgia!!! Well Done,” Pompeo, 56, wrote via Instagram comment. “Your mama’s words are perfect!!!” In addition to Georgia, Gayheart and Dane shared 16-year-old daughter Billie. The Euphoria actor died in February after a battle with ALS. He was 53. “I think they would lead with I’m a reactive person. ‘My dad was a reactive person,’ [which is] not necessarily a negative connotation,” Dane said in a posthumous Famous Last Words interview, predicting what would be said during his kids’ eulogy. “Some of their core memories involve me reacting to something. … I think that they would say I was pretty tough [and] resilient.” He continued at the time, “They would say I was loving and I was really endearing and compassionate and empathetic and trustworthy. I’m a good dad. We did some really great traveling. We went to Europe one year, and there was a time where we were ripping through the French countryside with the kids in the back of this crazy little car we rented.” According to Dane, he was hopeful that Billie and Georgia always remembered his tireless support. “I think showing up is the No. 1 quality,” the actor said in the interview, which premiered hours after his death. “I haven’t been perfect with that, but I’ve always been there when it mattered. Well, their mother and I are no longer together. We’re still best friends, but we’re not together.” Dane and Gayheart were married from 2004 to 2018 before the Jawbreakers actress filed for divorce. She ultimately withdrew her petition in 2025 after Dane was diagnosed with ALS. “Just by virtue of the distance and us living in separate homes, there’s a lot of time lost there,” Dane added in Famous Last Words. “I made sure that I can be there as much as possible — and certainly when it counts. I’ve shown up to all of Billie’s ballet recitals. I’ve been to many Nutcrackers, and I’ll tell you, there’s a couple pieces in there that are beautiful but Jesus, that thing drones on, man. It’s three hours, but I’ve been to all of them.”

(The sisters also joined their family for the annual Christmas service last December).Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, who recently revealed she’s pregnant with her third child, have mostly maintained a low-profile after their dad was officially stripped of his royal titles by his brother King Charles and evicted from his royal lodging. ZUMAPRESS.comBoth Beatrice and Eugenie have kept low profiles in recent months since their parents were stripped of their royal titles and evicted from their royal lodging. ZUMAPRESS.comWhile they were both able to maintain their royal princess titles, the sisters still decided to quietly flee the UK at the time of the scandal, opting to go on separate low-key vacations.Eugenie, 36, was spotted on a girls’ trip to Paris with friends while Beatrice was pictured posing for a photo at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But, as some may recall, the scrutiny surrounding the former prince became heightened in February when he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. As a result, his daughters were told they could not attend the upcoming 2026 Royal Ascot, which takes place June 16 through June 20, or join their family in the Royal Procession. In March, the sisters were reportedly told they were barred from attending the Royal Ascot in June ZUMAPRESS.comAs a result of the heightened scrutiny on their family, sources also previously claimed that Princess Beatrice was considering a move to the US. INSTARimagesThe princesses’ attendance to the family affair could be a good sign that things are looking up for the royal sisters — and may even encourage them to stay in England with the rest of their family. In March, it was reported that Princess Beatrice was considering a move to the US to escape her parents’ scandal. Sources told the Daily Mail that Beatrice is “mortified” by the Epstein scandal and “desperate to hold things together.”

The Heartfelt Journey of Karl-Anthony Towns: From Tragedy to Triumph New

The Heartfelt Journey of Karl-Anthony Towns: From Tragedy to Triumph

The Knicks’ dreams of becoming NBA champions are in reach for the first time in 27 years and the whole of New York is abuzz over it.On court they have steamrollered the competition to face the San Antonio Spurs in the finals, thanks to one of the strongest teams in recent history. For star player Karl Anthony Towns, 30, it marks a dramatic turnaround in his life over the last six years, not just in the game, but his personal life too.The Knicks dreams of becoming NBA champions are in reach for the first time in 27 years. Helping them lead the charge is Karl-Anthony Towns, 30, as he competes in the finals for the first time in his career. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters ConnectIn 2020 Towns felt like his world had fallen apart. A year earlier, his car was rear-ended by a semi-truck, leaving him in the hospital with what he called a “5% chance of making it out alive.” The next April he suddenly lost his mother due to complications related to COVID-19, at just 58 years old. To cap it all off, the same summer he was hospitalized after being hit by a drunk driver in Los Angeles. Each time the Edison, New Jersey-born center-forward was comforted through the physical pain and mental anguish by now-fiancée Jordyn Woods, 28; the Los Angeles model and influencer he’d first been introduced to three years earlier. As the pandemic continued and the world ground to a halt, the pair were both mourning: Towns for mother, Jacqueline Cruz, and Woods for her father, the late sound engineer John Woods. He passed away suddenly in 2017 just weeks after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer at age 61. “He lost his mom, she lost her dad. That strengthened the bond for sure,” the source close to the couple said of finding comfort in their shared loss.Fiance Jordyn Woods, 28, has been a pillar of support for Towns since their friendship turned romantic in 2020, after his mother died. Jordyn Woods/ InstagramThe pair first got together romantically in May 2020, while Towns was playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, his home for the first nine seasons of his career before joining the Knicks in October 2024.  “I found you, then I found me,” she wrote in a post, confirming their relationship in September 2020, underneath a picture of her embracing the basketball star, both of them wearing Versace bathing suits.“The right person will bring a lot out of you,” Woods told Extra that same month. “Naturally, we both connected about losing a parent at a very young age … so it was a very organic relationship.”  “She’s shining. She’s super excited, and nervous at the same time because it’s a lot in terms of putting everything together,” a source close to the couple told Page Six, of both the finals and being in the final stages of preparing their wedding. Getty ImagesAfter Towns traded to the Knicks in 2024, he and Woods took their relationship to the next level and both moved to the Big Apple full time. jordynwoods/InstagramSince then, Woods has been a fixture courtside and a strong and steadying presence in seven-foot tall Towns’ life. She and NYC’s basketball fans have been cheering the team — who’s current regular starting line-up also includes Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby — to the NBA finals for the first time since 1999.“She’s shining. She’s super excited, and nervous at the same time because it’s a lot in terms of putting everything together,” the source close to the couple told Page Six, of both the finals and being in the final stages of preparing their wedding. The proposal came after the Knicks made a remarkable 126-124 Christmas Day 2025 win over the Cavaliers at MSG. Towns traded his No. 32 jersey for a tuxedo and got down on one knee, presenting Woods, wearing all white, an elongated emerald-cut diamond ring estimated to be more than 10-carats in a private corner of the rooftop Overstory bar in the Financial District, overlooking the city.KAT has faced his share of adversity before joining the Knicks in 2024. She grew up in Oak Park, California, where her father worked on TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” Through that, her family was friendly with mega-celebs Will, Jada-Pinkett, Jaden and Willow Smith.Through the regular season, Woods has cemented herself as a fashion fixture courtside —supporting her MVP in custom designs bedazzled with “Towns” and also giving her 1.7 million TikTok fans a first look at her fashion in Get Ready With Me videos.   jordynwoods/InstagramJaden then introduced Woods to Kylie Jenner the summer before entering high school and they became close pals. As a result, Woods was a frequent fixture on the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality show, and her pal’s later spinoff, “Life of Kylie.”However, in 2019 things rapidly frosted between Woods and Jenner pals over another basketball player. Woods admitted she’d had an intimate encounter with notorious NBA love cheat Tristan Thompson, who is baby daddy to two children with Khloe Kardashian, Kylie’s older half-sister.Following that revelation, Woods was dramatically cast out of the Kar-Jenner inner circle. Her experience with that drama and being on two major TV shows — and all the public criticism which came with it — meant she quickly had to grow a thick skin, the source close to the couple told Page Six.Before getting engaged last Christmas, KAT played in the remarkable 126-124 Christmas Day Knicks win over the Cavaliers at MSG. Getty Images“[The NBA finals] is nothing compared to being around the Kardashians, literally nothing!” the source quipped.Towns has also been on the receiving end of much criticism through his time in the NBA, and the current run of excitement around the Knicks is certainly welcome.“You have to adapt to the culture of the city New York. You’ve seen the transition. The first year [Towns] played, all the write ups were, ‘He’s too soft to play in New York.’ He adapted to it. All this attention right now on the positive side is very new for him,” said the source.  “He’s normally on the other side of the conversation. The Knicks — they never get this far.Towns proposed to Woods on Christmas, 2025 at Overstory bar in the Financial District. Jordyn Woods/InstagramWoods announced the news on her Instagram page with the caption: “Marry Christmas.” Jordyn Woods/Instagram“When you’re the star or a big man, that pressure goes on you. For him being [praised so highly] is new.” Indeed, Towns had the X-factor when the Knicks fell behind by 14 points in the third quarter of Game One last Thursday, his powerhouse defense fueling a 105-95 comeback victory over the Spurs. After, he said he felt a higher power over him – the presence of his late mother. “I don’t know what it was, but I just felt a clam and a peace that had to be come from the woman above,” he told Shaquille O’Neal on ESPN’s “Inside the NBA” postgame show. The Los Angeles native and influencer has gained a WAGs fan following for her “GRWM” (Get ready with me) pre-game TikToks. jordynwoods/Instagram“I felt good. I felt like a kid.” Towns paid tribute to Woods in Jan. 2021 for standing by his side and helping him through his car accidents and family losses.“My woman has held me down more than the world knows,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID she has been there with me every step of the way and stay, ten toes down.”The athlete added: “My love for her knows no bounds and I would be remiss if I don’t acknowledge the power of a good woman can have in your life. Men, treat your woman like a Queen so she can treat you like a King.”Things frosted between Woods and Kylie Jenner in 2019 over another basketball player. Getty ImagesWoods has also gone the distance literally to make her relationship with Towns work. While he was still with the Timberwolves she would jet between Hollywood and Minnesota so they could spend time together. After he was traded to the Knicks in 2024, they took their relationship to the next level and both moved to the Big Apple full time. She also traded her signature Minnesota merch for custom “KAT” jackets, which quickly became a fixture at the Knicks home stadium, Madison Square Garden. However, there came potential for drama on the Knicks’ famed Celebrity Row. The territory had already been staked out by ex-pal Jenner, after she started dating Knicks die-hard fan Timothee Chalamet in 2023 and they began attending games.“They might have got cool again,” the source close to Woods and Towns told Page Six of her relationship with Jenner, who is dating Knicks superfan Timothee Chalamet. Jordyn Woods/ InstagramAlthough nothing has been said publicly about rekindling their relationship, they have posed for pics together on numerous occasions, leading the public to conclude they have buried the hatchet.“They might have got cool again,” the source close to Woods and Towns told Page Six.Whether Jenner and Chalamet will attend the wedding is a different matter, but those close to Woods and Towns say it doesn’t matter — they have each other and that’s all that counts.  “She found her person, and they couldn’t be happier,” the insider said.

Jesse and Ashley Ridgway's Bold Move Sparks Intense Backlash New

Jesse and Ashley Ridgway's Bold Move Sparks Intense Backlash

Influencer couple Jesse and Ashley Ridgway revealed that they started sleeping next to a gun due to the backlash over their decision to terminate her pregnancy. “With the death threats and everything, it has been shocking,” Jesse, 33, admitted on the Friday, June 5, episode of TMZ Live. “Close people to us are very judgmental. Religious-based [people] saying we’re going to burn in hell. ‘We deserve to die.’” He confirmed, “We had a [security] gate installed. I have a gun next to my nightstand because it’s been getting so ridiculous and [threats] have been coming to emails, DMs, you name it. We’ve seen the darkest side of humanity through this process.” Jesse and Ashley, 31, announced they were expecting their first baby boy in March before finding out in a vlog that he had “a 95 percent chance to be born with Down syndrome.” “We were so excited to celebrate the gender reveal in a Psycho video with you guys, but in true ‘art imitates life’-fashion … there had to be a dark twist,” Jesse wrote via Instagram at the time. Earlier this week, Jesse shared via Instagram that he and Ashley chose to terminate her pregnancy because of potential complications associated with Down syndrome (a.k.a Trisomy 21). “I know some of you may be very disappointed to hear this news. We are devastated,” Jesse wrote. “This has been extremely traumatic for both of us, especially Ashley.” He confirmed that “everything went smoothly” with Ashley’s abortion but the couple struggled with the emotional toll of making such a heartbreaking decision. “Trisomy 21, also known as Down syndrome, is caused by an extra chromosome. It is caused by an error in cell division, like a glitch. The odds of a baby having it is 1 in 100,” he noted. “When I first confronted this news, I was shocked but optimistic. If they’re a little slow intellectually, then we’ll make it work. I signed on to be a parent, come what may. I just didn’t fully understand what Down syndrome entailed.” Jesse told his followers that his and Ashley’s decision to terminate was informed by learning more about the kind of life their baby might face with Down syndrome. “I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family,” the YouTuber wrote. “We spoke with doctors, friends, family and genetic counselors and learned that up to 90 percent of women terminate their pregnancy after learning the baby has Trisomy 21. … You never think you’d be in this type of situation until it happens to you and then things change.” Jesse concluded, “As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome.” While many of the influencer’s fans sent well-wishes, Jesse later admitted he’d “never seen such hate and vitriol for two people grieving the loss of their unborn child and making an impossible decision.” “What’s more troubling is a lot of these people use God or Jesus as their justification for threatening us and wanting to cast us into hell … seems pretty hypocritical,” he wrote. “So many saying they would’ve kept the child, put it up for adoption or are suddenly ready to adopt a Down syndrome child, that’s great! You can do all those things.” “There has been some heinous s*** said about my wife and I on some extremely large accounts. It baffles me that there are such trashy-ass people who have significant followings,” Jesse added. “If you can’t contribute anything meaningful to the conversation aside from insults, then just don’t post.” Despite the backlash, Ashley revealed on Friday’s TMZ Live episode that she did not regret sharing her decision to terminate her pregnancy.

Chilling Details Emerge: Victims' Final Moments Exposed in Gruesome Case New

Chilling Details Emerge: Victims' Final Moments Exposed in Gruesome Case

Medical examiner Dr. Veena Singh reportedly planned on testifying that three of Bryan Kohberger's victims experienced an increased level of pain before their murders. According to court documents obtained by People on Friday, June 5, Singh found that Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Madison Mogen "endured a high degree of pain and/or suffering prior to their deaths as a result of the injuries.” The medical professional also found that Ethan Chapin "experienced a high degree of pain and/or suffering prior to his death as a result of the injuries inflicted but to a lesser degree than the other decedents." Autopsy reports stated that Goncalves, Mogen and Chapin suffered from fatal injuries while laying in bed asleep, per the outlet. Kernodle, who was not asleep at the time of her death, fought back against her killer as she was stabbed 67 times. Chapin, Kernodle, Mogen and Goncalves were found dead in their shared home in Moscow, Idaho on November 13, 2022. There were two survivors from the incident: Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke. Weeks later, Kohberger, 31, was arrested in connection with their deaths at his parent’s property in Pennsylvania. Singh ultimately did not testify in the case because of Kohberger’s plea deal. In July 2025, Kohberger pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary. The arrangement allowed Kohberger to avoid the death penalty and he was not required to reveal details of the murders. Kohberger was ultimately sentenced to four consecutive life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole, plus ten years for burglary. He has been behind bars at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna, Idaho, since July 2025. Goncalves’ parents are still trying to wrap their minds around what happened to their daughter and have unanswered questions for Kohberger. “I would ask him, ‘Why? Please, please, please. Do you not think that our family has been through enough?’” Kaylee’s mother, Kristi Goncalves, told the Daily Mail in an interview published on Thursday, June 4. “Do you not think what you did to our daughter — when we found out that you stabbed her 38 times with a seven-inch KaBar military model knife, 24 times to her face, to her head, 11 times to her chest and neck, and three defensive wounds as she sat up in that bed, and she fought for her life? … Can you just tell me why? I’m a mother, and you have a mother, too. Can you please just tell me why?” Kaylee’s father, Steve Goncalves, also wants an explanation. “That’s all you would have to do. Explain to us how that happened and what other weapon you used,” Steve told the outlet.

Mayim Bialik's Shocking Struggle with a 'Nightmare' Drug Revealed New

Mayim Bialik's Shocking Struggle with a 'Nightmare' Drug Revealed

Mayim Bialik labeled her experience with GLP-1 drugs a “nightmare” in a candid new essay. “I grew up in the limelight, with my appearance scrutinized weekly from the time I starred in my own NBC show at 14,” the “Blossom” actress wrote in a Free Press essay titled “My GLP-1 Nightmare” published Friday.“I was blissfully unaware of my weight back then,” she wrote, describing her younger self as “naturally lanky and athletic” and being able to eat “whatever I wanted with no concern for weight gain.”However, the former “Jeopardy!” host wrote that as a teen she was “put on medication to manage my moods, and weight gain followed me from there.”Bialik, now 50, wrote of acquiring a “deep sense of shame around my body” by her 40s, when she was “still actively working as an actress.”“By the time social media arrived — with its fixation on being thinner, more toned, more surgically perfected — that pressure tipped into a disordered relationship with food that I have spent years trying to untangle,” the “Big Bang Theory” alum wrote.Mayim Bialik, seen above in 2018 at the Critics Choice Awards, detailed her “nightmare” with GLP-1 drugs in an essay she wrote for the Free Press. Getty ImagesThe actress, seen here in 2024, said her appearance was “scrutinized weekly” from the age of 14, when she starred on “Blossom.” Variety via Getty ImagesEarly menopause, she divulged, caused an additional 20 pounds of weight gain she doesn’t “seem to have the discipline, motivation, or time to lose.”“Still, that’s not why I went on a GLP-1,” the actress continued. “I went on a weight-loss drug because a doctor told me it might help ease symptoms I’ve struggled with for basically my entire adult life.” Bialik wrote that she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder affecting the thyroid, at age 23. Though she was prescribed medication, she didn’t make lifestyle changes — a move she feels might have “very slowly made my condition worse.”The neuroscientist was also diagnosed with Sjögren’s syndrome, dysautonomia, connective tissue disease, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) in later years, and suffered from extreme symptoms of the conditions, including “crippling depression” and “full-body rashes.”Bialik shared that separate three doctors suggested she go on a GLP-1 drug “not because of the 20 postmenopausal pounds but because the drugs have shown promise in reducing the systemic inflammation that drives autoimmune conditions.”The actress, pictured above in 2025, wrote that she began to experience weight gain after she was put on medication to manage her moods in her teens. Corbis via Getty ImagesBialik, seen above on “Jeopardy!,” was later diagnosed with several conditions, including Graves’ disease. ABC via Getty Images“Maybe this could be the magic cure,” she recalled of her mindset at the time.“GLP-1s have helped people in serious need. Of that I am certain,” she wrote. “But nobody talks much about what happens when it goes wrong.”After taking “one shot of the lowest dose of a synthetic GLP-1,” Bialik noted that “to say I had an adverse reaction would be somewhat of an understatement.”She detailed “explosive, uncontrollable diarrhea,” as well as “sulfur burps so violent they left me afraid to open my mouth in public,” as some of the worst side-effects. “Sneezing attacks every time I tried to eat or drink — which apparently has a name, snatiation,” she continued.Doctors for Bialik, seen above in 2023, suggested she try a GLP-1 to help manage her conditions — not for weight loss. Getty ImagesThe actress, pictured here in 2023, detailed dramatic side effects. Getty Images for Los Angeles LGBT Center“Cramping. Bloating. Full-body aching, as though I had the flu” Bialik added. “And an inability to keep down even small sips of water without sprinting to the bathroom with yet more explosive diarrhea. More than three times, I didn’t make it.”She shared, “This drug has a very long half-life; my prescribing doctor had told me to expect at least a week of this, if not more.”Bialik noted that after experiencing the dramatic side effects, her “body made its position clear, and I had learned, after decades of overriding it, to finally listen.” She ultimately decided to stop taking the GLP-1 and “finally went to see a gastroenterologist.”The physician told her GLP-1 drugs “are extremely disruptive to the body and should not be used outside of a specific, regulated set of serious medical reasons — namely, life-compromising obesity and its related health consequences” and that she “did not meet that bar.”Bialik, seen here in “Night Court” with John Larroquette in 2025, ultimately decided to stop the GLP-1. Nicole Weingart/NBC via Getty ImagesA gastroenterologist later confirmed to Bialik, seen here on “The Big Bang Theory” in 2019, the drugs “are extremely disruptive to the body” and she decided to stop taking them. CBS via Getty ImagesBialik recalled leaving the specialist’s office “feeling validated,” noting that “a real doctor confirming I was not a freak, that the medication really had done this to me — and trepidatious that there was more to deal with in the coming weeks.”She concluded the essay with an ironic memory of her appointment. “On my way out, I caught a glimpse of my reflection, and I did not recoil,” the “Call Me Kat” actress recounted.“I did not see under my first chin that second chin on which I had been fixating for months — because it wasn’t there. My cheekbones were visible. I gazed for a moment, flashed a Mona Lisa smile, and headed to the parking lot, stopping briefly to hike up my skirt, which had started to sag at my hips ever so slightly.”Bialik isn’t the first celebrity to speak out about the negative effects of GLP-1s — Bunnie XO, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia and Kris Jenner have all shared cautionary tales in recent years about the increasingly popular weight-loss medications.
