I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength.”Cardi B (pictured above in May 2025) revealed her and ex Stefon Diggs’ baby boy’s name via Instagram on Wednesday. The rapper announced in November 2025 that she had given birth to their first child together but did not share further details. She continued, “I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit.”The social media upload included photos of the toddler sitting on a bed in a baseball cap, wearing a doctor Halloween costume and more.Cardi told her followers in November 2025 that the little one had arrived — but did not divulge any further details.“I brought … a new baby into the world,” she wrote at the time. “One more reason to be the best version of me.”The little one, the Grammy winner’s fourth child, is named Grey. cardi b/ instagramThe songwriter debuted his name while celebrating his 1st birthday. cardi b/ instagramThe Grammy winner also referred to her new arrival as “one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”While she did not reference the infant’s sex in the upload, she did so on her Story, writing, “I just had a boy.”Diggs shared this news days prior in a conversation with People — and gave his stamp of approval.“That’s enough for me,” the NFL player, 32, told the outlet. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”The athlete was first linked to Cardi in February 2025, but they have since split — despite reuniting earlier this year and making headlines for a coffee shop clash.Cardi (pictured above in 2020) has three other children named Kulture, Wave and Blossom with her estranged husband, Offset. iamcardib/InstagramShe started dating Diggs (pictured above in June 2025) in 2025 but they have since called it quits. Democrats Achieve Historic Senate Wins in Kansas and Texas New

Democrats Achieve Historic Senate Wins in Kansas and Texas

See more of our coverage in your search results. America has a case of the blues. The Democrats shattered records Tuesday night, becoming the first party to sweep both the House and the Senate in a Midterm election in 20 years, as dozens of historically safe red Republican seats fell.In a stunning rebuke of President Trump’s administration, Democrats picked up their first US Senate seat in Kansas in almost a century, one of at least seven Senate seats flipped during Tuesday’s blue tsunami.Republicans also lost Senate races in staunchly red Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Texas.Meanwhile, Democrats also secured the House, making President Trump’s last two years potentially even harder. Here were some of Tuesday’s most shocking upsets:Democratic Senate candidate Texas state Rep. James Talarico speaks at an election night event in Austin, Texas, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. AP Photo/Eric GayLosin’ TexasIn the Lone Star State, James Talarico made history by becoming the first Democrat elected to the US Senate from Texas since 1988, beating state Attorney General Ken Paxton.Trump ally Paxton, 63, had unseated 24-year incumbent John Cornyn in May’s primary runoff, but his history of scandals and controversy doomed him in the voters’ eyes.Despite hefty financial backing, including nearly $200 million coming from the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, Paxton lost to Talarico by over one million voters, with AP calling the race just after 11 p.m. 55.2% to 42.9% in Talarico’s favor.Texas Gov. REUTERSGreg Abb-outIn possibly the biggest shock of the night, three-term Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott lost re-election to state Rep. Gina Hinojosa in a stunning upset which could have long-term ramifications in America’s second-most popular state. The seismic Democratic sweep in Texas now positions the once-Republican stronghold as a key 2028 battleground state. In other gubernatorial bloodbaths, Ohio and Georgia also both voted for Democratic governors — with Amy Acton besting former Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy in Ohio, and Keisha Lance Bottoms winning in Georgia. Ramaswamy’s campaign was derailed when he produced a controversial campaign ad featuring Acton’s estranged mother, who remained married to Acton’s alleged rapist after he was criminally charged.Bottoms’ win in the Peach State makes her the first black woman elected governor of a US state. Follow for live updates on the 2026 Midterm ElectionsKansas catastropheIn the Sunflower State, megachurch pastor Adam Hamilton became the first Democrat elected to the Senate from Kansas since 1932, stunning Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.).Hamilton won with 52.1% of the vote, compared with Marshall’s 45%, with 94% of ballots counted as of 11 p.m. Tuesday.Marshall, an obstetrician-gynecologist, came under fire over reports that he sued some 700 patients over unpaid bills, including an eight-month pregnant woman who was arrested after missing a medical debt payment with an 18% interest rate.U.S. Sen. Henry McMaster (R-SC) to fill the seat following her brother’s death in July at age 71.Despite President Trump throwing his support behind Graham and joining her on the campaign trail, she lost by almost 100,000 votes, with AP calling the seat for Andrews with the vote tallies at 51.1% to 46.7%.More coverage of the 2026 midterm elections: Live updates on the midterm elections Pete Ricketts wins Nebraska Senate race, making Dan Osborn two-time loser Sean Duffy’s son-in-law Michael Alfonso wins Wisconsin seat to become youngest House member Far-left Dem Abdul El-Sayed defies bitter party mutiny to rout Mike Rogers in Michigan Senate race Peggy Flanagan wins Minnesota Senate race over Michele Tafoya Maine eventIn Maine, Democrat Troy Jackson defeated longtime Sen. California's Election Night Surprises: Republicans Find Unexpected Wins Amid Blue Dominance New

California's Election Night Surprises: Republicans Find Unexpected Wins Amid Blue Dominance

See more of our coverage in your search results. The polls are closed in California. Some winners are already celebrating, some losers are licking their wounds, and in dozens of races we’re going to be waiting days — possibly weeks — to find out who actually won.Although Democrats outnumber Republicans here in the Golden State by millions of voters, some of the early called races are no surprise at all.We do know that Democrat Xavier Becerra beat Republican Steve Hilton for governor by a wide margin, as did all the Democrats running for statewide office, except in the Insurance Commissioner’s race. That one features two Democrats in a close race.We do know that Democrat Xavier Becerra beat Republican Steve Hilton for governor by a wide margin Nathan Weyland for CA PostOf course, I hoped Hilton could end Republicans’ long losing streak in statewide elections. Becerra made sure that streak continues. There are some decisive verdicts on ballot measures, too. Some good news: Election night returns show Proposition 40, the “billionaire tax,” losing by double digits. But Proposition 3, the extension of the higher income tax rates for millions, passing by even more. Proposition 39, the Voter ID measure, was getting trounced by nearly twenty points. Also Proposition 43, to make it harder to raise local taxes, was going down. With the “Blue Tsunami” sweeping the nation, Republicans are losing at the Congressional, State Senate, and Assembly levels up and down California. It’s ugly.Meanwhile, the candidates in the closer races are going to be staring at their phones for days, waiting for the next batch of votes. Some are ahead right now. Others are trailing. And if history is any guide, a fair number of those early leads won’t survive the counting.Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton opens his jacket at an election night rally in Garden Grove, Calif., Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. REUTERSI’ve watched this happen to Republicans for decades. I call it California’s red undertow.Remember 2018? Republicans Jeff Denham, David Valadao, Young Kim, and Mimi Walters all led on election night. Every one of them lost.Kim actually flew to Washington for new member orientation. She came home without a seat in Congress.Download The California Post App, follow us on social, and subscribe to our newsletters California Post News: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedInCalifornia Post Sports Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, XCalifornia Post Opinion California Post Newsletters: Sign up here!California Post App: Download here!Home delivery: Sign up here!Page Six Hollywood: Sign up here!I’ve sat in those campaign offices after Election Day, watching every county update shave a few hundred more votes off the lead. It’s a miserable experience, especially when everybody knows where the trend is heading. We saw another example in June’s Los Angeles mayoral primary. Republican Spencer Pratt led Democrat Nithya Raman early, only to watch Raman overtake him as more ballots were counted.Republicans tend to return their mail ballots earlier, and those ballots dominate the first reports. Ballots dropped off on Election Day, late-arriving mail, and provisionals can look very different politically.Spencer Pratt attends his election event in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Andy Johnstone for CA PostNone of that means the later ballots are fraudulent. They’re lawful votes and they have to be counted. But California has built a system in which Election Day is increasingly just the day we start finding out what happened. I think it’s a disgrace.Every active registered voter gets a ballot mailed to his or her home, postage paid. Ballots postmarked by Election Day can arrive up to seven days later. Then there are signature checks, provisional ballots, and opportunities for voters to correct certain problems.Florida and Texas manage to give voters a pretty good idea of who won within hours. California has more voters, certainly, but that’s hardly an excuse for a system that leaves competitive races hanging for weeks. And don’t blame the county registrars. They didn’t write these laws. Then there’s ballot security, which bothers me even more. At a polling place, election workers and observers can watch the process. Nobody watches what happens when a ballot gets filled out at somebody’s kitchen table. We rely on signature verification and other safeguards after the fact.I’d go back to voting primarily in person. Show up at your polling place, sign in, vote, and drop your ballot in the box. Keep absentee voting for people who really need it — military personnel overseas and homebound voters. It’s how we used to conduct elections, and I think we were better off.Besides the Insurance Commissioner race, the highest-profile uncertain race would be the race for LA Mayor – which is going to be too close to call for some time. Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman speaks to reporters at a Get Out the Vote event at UCLA. Councilwoman Nithya Raman sought to unseat Mayor Karen Bass after a contentious campaign that exposed deep divisions over the city’s future. Pedro Colo for CA PostMany close races will take longer to settle. Nobody expects otherwise. But why should Californians have to wait weeks for results that voters in most other states get on election night? Sacramento has spent years making it easier to cast a ballot. Apparently making it easier to know who won isn’t nearly as important. If faster results mattered to the people who write the rules, we’d have faster results.Instead we get to spend the next few weeks watching the red undertow do its work. One final note, for disappointed Republicans: A great Republican president lost both houses in his sixth year in office. Today he is remembered as one of America’s best. His name was Ronald Reagan. And his legacy endures, in California and the nation.Jon Fleischman, a longtime strategist in California politics, writes at SoDoesItMatter.com.

Mills joked that she wanted her grandson to call her “Glamma.”“[Chloe] didn’t like that,” she cracked. While the former soap star never married, she’s been in a relationship with actor Larry Gilman, 76, since 2001.
